I'm in a wheelchair and am showing my gf how to hook up my subs. I can't lean in the bay far enough to find a place to run the power wire through the firewall and I know she's not gunna be able to find a spot. So is there a hole I can use or do I need to drill one? It's an auto so can I use where the clutch master cylinder would be?

Thanks ahead of time

Someone needs to make up a sticky for this. I can take some pics and type instructions for the 4cyl crowd.

I can as well.

The only difference as far as the two really is going to be battery location.

That's what mine is (was). Simply because of the battery location. If I was a V6 I would be going down the driver side.

Battery location dictates which side of the car the wire will should run through, which is the important part to know when planning to run the power wire.

I'll work on making a diy with pics this weekend.

In my V6, I ran it down the drivers side. Inboard of the m/c, I found a small hole that I used to punch my power wire thru. It comes inside just above the skinny pedal. Then routed it over the steering column, and down the drivers side.
