hey guys, i searched but didnt see anything helpful- im wondering what short throw adapters use a bushing to connect instead of just a bolt rubbing on metal( i dont like the thought of that) ive looked at several but cant really tell from the pics and descriptions. thanks for any help.

No bushing. After i bought mine and got it out of the box, I wished I had made one myself. All it does is moves the linkage. but it definitely reduces shift throw. Just don't buy an expensive one. Got mine for $30 if I remember correctly.
I still think I'm going to save up for a PSPEC

did you cut your shifter down a bit like alot of people do? im curious because i wonder how much better the pspec is vs. adapter and a cut ( not that i can see myself spending 200 on a shift mod)

I haven't cut it yet. I haven't felt like going through the hassle. The PSPEC has not gotten a single bad review on this forum though. Most members claim it was well worth the $200.
