the twin turbo supra is a clear winner. The strongest stock engine and has the most potential with mods.

i argue, i think the RX7 with its near perfect weight ratio, turbo'd rotary goodness and clean style makes it the better "sports" car. even with the potential issues its definately more reliable than the wonderful pos 300z.

The 300zx is way too cramped to work on. The RX7 is the best handling of the bunch and rotaries can hold power and are easy to rebuild if you know what you're doing. However, the Supra is the clear winner. The 2JZ platform clearly handles more power than the other two in stock form.

Personally, I would still choose the RX-7. Stock it handles better and just appeals to me more.
Not to mention the fact a 1.3L motor is capable of dumping out crazy horsepower.
And as previously stated, the weight disctibution is unbelievable.
Simply because of the motor being so small, it sits behing the front wheels

Close call between the Supra and RX-7..if I based the decision on ability to upgrade etc..it would be the Supra..if I based it on off the lot it would clearly be the RX-7...I'll have to say the Supra, overall accounting for everything including resale values...RX-7 in a VERY close second...300zx doesn't even compare.

I voted for the RX-7. IMO, power isn't the most important factor in a sports car, it's the overall package.

But this is really subjective. As far as '90's sports cars go, there would be a lot of other cars I'd put ahead of the cars on that list :) .
