my buddys 4 door. we took the pictures and about 10 minutes after he left i found a parking deck i can access :/ i wish he would have gotten on the parking deck with me. we will be meeting up again soon to take some more on the parking deck together (no-homo)

thanks andy, could you also happen to help me with something.

i have a d60 and im trying to figure out ohw to get my whole car in focus instead of just one particular spot and kind of blurring out the rest. ive messedwith the focus area thing and it wont really help

so what would have been the best setting for this enviroment?

shutter speed mostly. you already said arpetures LOL

you need to have the subject and background at relatively similar distances from the camera...if there is alot of space between the subject and the background...its gonna blur no matter what...because DSLRs have larger openings and the larger opening is what causes the blur...the light goes through like water through a funnel with a large opening...if you use a smaller opening...the light goes through it more uniformly(or focused)...

generally tho..people buy DSLR's because they like the shallow depth of field you seem to not like
