That was an accordtuner meet, I remember reading on their forums that they got a hold of aim/myspace etc and were bugging the absolute **** out of her, so much to the point where she made a public apology on her myspace page or somethin. I can't remember the exact details, but she the accord guys got back at her :)

My friends against imports and we just ripped him a new asshole about imports.

He goes "imports suck man," and I had replied asking him his views why they suck. Soon after I asked the question he stumbles and starts talking about Hyundai and Kia. Bwaha, those are KOREAN made. Korean **** sucks.. BMW, Toyota, Honda, and Acura are some of the most sold cars. Although Mercedes, Kia, and Hyundai might not have the reliability of them, I speak more not Imports, but JDM and GDM spec cars. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy a ford truck or something along those lines, I believe they have a great line of trucks. But like I said, they closed many factories, and probably will in the future, and they just create problems for people who work at those factories. I don't beleive domestic cars have much going for them other than an aluminum block, and some plastic interior. Woohoo sure you got a ****load of power from a v8, if honda and acura teamed up to make a v8 domestic cars would be raped and raped and no one would probably go for the domestics anymore due to their ****TY quality.

My point more or less is that people are just retarted! Not bashing and I'm not an athiast, but it's just like catholicism..they take one thing they believe in most, and bash everything else! It's bull. Theres no one center of **** thats the best, or one person(or in this case Domestics) who's the "creator". Sure Henry Ford created the evolution to bring us to where we are now, but that was then, and evolution has taken them far enough to bring them to their ultimate demise. They always had been thinking bigger and better. Well times have changed. Bigger isn't always better. I love seeing a 4banger pump out 400hp from those cylinders, it's such a better sense of accomplishment! Am I not right about any of this?

Rice burners they call us. Bwaha, Yeah because we work on such miniscule amounts of anything to get them going rather than putting a nuclear powerplant under the hood.

I don't get why people get so pissed when people say imports suck. I have read "domestics suck" on this board more than a few times.

I just don't get why if you like a certain car/brand/region/etc, that you have to hate on everything else. Who really gets irrated enough over other peoples car to go and make a scene at a meet and record it to video. That's just stupid to me.

import guys saying domesitcs suck are on the same level as this chick, I like cars in general, both imports and domestics have their qualities, I dont hold blind allegiances to any region. im no import fanboy.

plus, the auto industry has gone international, our cars are made in ohio and somefords are made in mexico, the ep3 civic type r was manufactured in england, and the GTO was designed in australia. the old import and domestic stereotypes are outdated.

some domsetics get great gas mileage and who says honda are more reliable. ask every honda/acura owner with a v6 engine and their driyng auto trannies, I mean its guaranteed those trannies will fail ask those guys at v6p, that has to be one of the most notorious quality control issues ive ever heard of, I cant beleive honda got away witout a lawsuit.

amen, I'm with you. to me, a nicely modded car is great to see, whether its an import or a domestic. I used to hang around with a domestic car club just for fun. The only thing i think is funny are the riced out domestics.

I always loved the previous generation mustangs, and I fell in love with the shelbygt500 in gone in 60 seconds, even though classic domestics use outdated technology they have a certain character, aura and nostalgia about them that you cant deny. where imports fell kinda soulesss imo.

my only beef with the domestic inudtry is in their marketing, they try to the to appeal to your emotion when doing ads, instead of telling you why their car is superior, they know their cars suck, so they do the whole, '" This is our Country" patriotic crap to dupe simpletons into buying american, where going import is the better decision.

also this whole vintage styling thing, IMO theyre sales are plummeting so instead of progressing and reinventing thier designs themselves theyre going vintage. and regurgidating outdated designs from the 60's. i.e. mustang, thunderbird, charger, camaro etc.

instead of making their cars better, they play the "be loyal to america" card.
