imports suck because to my friends who drive TA's and Z28's it costs way too much to make it have as much power as a stock TA or Z28.

then again, i argue there is the fun.

another problem is that imports got a bad name from SERIOUS ricers. i don't mean 1 or 2 decals, i mean REAL RICERS with *** cannons on a civic trying STi's or trying Corvettes. and I KNOW YOU'VE SEEN or HEARD about those ricers. it's the bad rep.

i saw an assload of ricer videos online that made me want to sell my 6thGen and buy a Z28. it was just stupid, but i then i realized we are fighting the good fight. we are proving a point but building our cars to our standards, and more important, to sensible standards. we know the three major bolt-ons won't make us fly past an Evo but we know where to go and not go.

i love domestics for their raw power.
i love imports for their potential.

i think it takes intelligence to build and own an import.
it takes a heavy foot and insanity to own a domestic (300+HP plus 100+shots of nitrous, it's typical with domestics)

not to further fan the flames or anything, but ive driven quite a few cars...i just like the way hondas drive, and everything about them. if there was an american car that would, drive, look, sound, etc as good as a honda they might have a chance with me.

idk, i just like every car honda makes...while with gm its like "oh cobalt ss is cool...the sky redline might have potential" etc. its only a couple cars while the rest are ehhhh

ignorance, pure ignorance. her boyfriend doing doughnuts, messes things up for car clubs that want to have a meet in that area, import or domestic. it really made it look bad, because there was an Accord meet going on while that jack*** was doing that. i have alot of friends that aren't import fans, but we do have the love for cars in common. i'm not a big fan of alot of domestics, and there are even some imports that i'm not to big on. how manny of you guys have seen the 4dr white ITR that Pacific Rim built. It had a turbo and nos system. it smoked a viper.
imports get a bad name, because of the ricers and all the illegal strret racers. the sticker happy guys, with the s**** paint jobs, big aluminum wigs, loud fart cans with back lag, and apc projector headlights. i've seen quite a few guys in my area that fit that mold. we here, as import enthusiast have to deal with the ricers and the domestic haters. most of the fools running around saying imports suck, probably didn't even know that focuses where imports from europe. to keep up with the import craze, domestic car makers have started building vehicles that are similar in styling to imports. i could go on and on, but i'd be beating the horse to death. i will end with this though... i'll stay with 4cyl gas saver over v8 gas guzzler any day.

That was an accordtuner meet, I remember reading on their forums that they got a hold of aim/myspace etc and were bugging the absolute **** out of her, so much to the point where she made a public apology on her myspace page or somethin. I can't remember the exact details, but she the accord guys got back at her
