Would making a custom intake that is pretty much a cai and a sri in one be useful or just be purely cosmetic?
By the mix of the two i mean a cai but it branches off like a sri and still goes down like a cai. And having 2 air filters

That sounds ridiculous. you get very little performance gains out of an intake. SRI will give you a little more throttle response and the cai gives you a tad more high end power. why would you wanna switch between the two? just pick one

you could convert back and fourth between the two, but thered really be no point in that either.​

the hybrid intake is not two different air filters. its basically the stock box without the resonator and a straight pipe without the rifling
