Will 225/45-17 tires fit 01 coupe 4cyl

I will be slightly lowering the car by about two inches. I want to put on 17"x7" 40mm offset Technocast Corsair Racing wheels. 225/45-17 are exactly equal to the rolling diameter of the stock wheels (which I run now). 215/45-17 are about 1/2" shorter height than stock. 1.9% off with speedo.

Will the 225's fit with not rubbing on the stock struts or body?

Yes they will fit. My sig has 17x7 with 225/45 on them.

225/45R17 will fit, but because of the tire width, its gonna give you more of a "beefier" look.

yes they will, i have 235/45/17 on my 17x7...lol. but next set i get will be 225
