Gahh those things are so bulky. I would've just spliced. I know everyone's like "noooeeezzz dunnt cuut oeeeeEHHMMM warrsssss!!!!" but who's gonna seriously pop the cruise control button out when test driving a car? No one.
And plus, if you know what you're doing with a little solder and heat shrink, you can make any cut in a wire look almost factory.

But what works, works. I'm glad you like the gauge overlays! Definitely the best ones I've seen so far.

I agree with you, I hate anything that looks rigged or half-assed, or non-oem when it comes to stuff like this. I usually prefer soldering myself, but in instances like this, I prefer using these because they're easily removable if I ever want to remove the part you kno?

Plus it was 1:30am, cold as hell outside in my driveway when I installed them. Couldn't wait hah!

Couldn't agree more. When I can, I prefer to make any mod reversible to OEM with little or no trouble.

by chance do you have any more day time pics of the new gauges in your car but not close up?

Here's a few quick ones I took.. will try and take some pics with the DSLR over the weekend if I get a chance.

Here's one while the headlights are turned off. I gotta take some better ones w/the lights off so you can see the gauges unlit.

Nice day pics OP.

If I'm selling the car with the gauges still in it, sure I'd take that route. If I want to part out and sell the car as it came from the factory, then no I probably wouldn't.

In the ebay link there wasn't the automatic gear light, did you cut it out yourself? or was there the option to get the one already cut out.
