Found a few cheap OEM headunits but IDK if they'll work as they appear to be non-north American units. Can they be changed over or no?

Excuse my noobness with Nav/dvd units but can't you just put in a north American disc or are they programmed, from the factory, to only work with those countries?

I like the look of OEM honda units but they tend to be pricey. Just looking at alternatives.

Did you see this?

We will provide evaluation map for the country according to your shipping address. If you will use your device in different area, please make a comment to specify the map you want when place order.

^^^ Good catch. Could always email them and ask.

To add to the list of questions you should be asking, what about the extra shipping costs($70), shipping delays(weeks?), customs and taxes(who knows)? And I'm sure a product return to China would be ridiculously annoying and expensive. Too many negatives IMO.

No, I missed that. Good eye. I like that idea but...

...these are things I hadn't considered. I'm not looking to purchase these, for sure, they were just items I stumbled upon. I'm not worried about customs delays. Taxes and extra shipping charges aren't things I'm too fond of. And yes, returning such an item would be a hassle.

I'd have to think it over and really consider them before moving on it. In the end, ill more than likely stick with an aftermarket unit. These have potential to be massive headaches and any OEM units that ill find in the states will either be pricey or heavily used.

I can't imagine anything but a nightmare getting that to work over just installing a higher quality aftermarket head unit
