Windshield wiper parking problem

Hey guys, I seem to have an odd problem on my hands. My windsheild wipers won't park all the way, and they don't travel all the way during normal use. If I pull down on the stalk for the fast as long as you're holding it down, sometimes they seem to go too far, and sometimes move slow. Any one have any ideas before I tear it apart. I'm thinking it may be the motor.

just adjust them and tighten the nut that holds them down, it's probably loose.
