Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve - its on the left side of your intake manifold. Its black, big, and completely useless except for emissions.

if so how can the egr valve be deleted also if anyone knows what are the downfalls of not having an egr valve?

that piece cost more than what i paid for a new egr valve
Weird, my EGR kit was $85 from Honda. This tool doesn't really clean the valve itself but the port inside the intake. Not sure about 4cyl's but on the v6 you HAVE to remove the intake manifold and "drill" out the EGR port and slip in a new tube in order to clean it. This drill bit allows you to clean the port without removing the intake.
