Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve - its on the left side of your intake manifold. Its black, big, and completely useless except for emissions.

I believe you can run a greater risk of detonation, which is never good.

Weird, my EGR kit was $85 from Honda. This tool doesn't really clean the valve itself but the port inside the intake. Not sure about 4cyl's but on the v6 you HAVE to remove the intake manifold and "drill" out the EGR port and slip in a new tube in order to clean it. This drill bit allows you to clean the port without removing the intake.

Get a block off plate. Go OBD1. Downfalls....poor emissions.
