Would you buy a used alarm system?

I got 2 offers from people selling their Clifford. One is from my mechanic, his client removed it from a Mustang GT. Another is a friend of mine from work who removed it from his Monte Carlo because he wants to update to a new edition of the Clifford. I'm running a POS Audiovox OEM style alarm. The two Cliffords both would need a new remote. Both offering it to me for $200. Would you guys buy a used alarm system?

I wouldn't buy a used alarm. But thats just me.

If installed correctly, ALL the wires have been cut to fit that SPECIFIC vehicle. Not yours. I wouldn't do it......

I wouldn't unless i personally knew the person. Well, i would probably only buy of an installer that i would have to know personally. So many hack jobs, make sure you see what you are buying first.
