I am currently looking at getting 17x8.25 XXR 527 rims for my car to replace the old 15" OEM ones. My question is:
1.) What do I have to do to make them fit?
2.) What size tires?
3.) I plan on getting lowered springs so should I roll the fenders once the wheels are installed?
I'm also new here as of today, so can somebody please help me out? Thanks.

Search and specifically refer to the wheel fitment thread. Plenty of people of people have done the same thing, most being a lot more aggressive.

Oh, slam it first.

My friend is running xxr 527s 17x9.75 +25 on his sedan with 205/40 tires and he had to roll his fenders but it's easy to do. DO NOT USE A BASEBALL BAT. Go rent a roller and get a heat gun and some buddies. But you should probably lower your car first. Wouldn't recommend lowering springs. Just get coilovers so you can adjust the height to your liking. I personably would recommend F&F type 1's or K sports.

Oh that one? Wow. For the tires could I get maybe like 215 or 225? I don't really want a stretch. And for the offset could I do +35 to make it come out a little more?

If you're still wanting 17x8.25 then you can get bigger tires if you want 9.75 you'll want the 205 to stop the rubbing because it's so wide. And +35 won't made the wheels stick out more when you start going negative is when the wheel sticks out more or you can get spacers which adds negative offset. If you don't want rubbing just do +25 offset. No need for a camber kit either because you'll sit flush if that's what you're looking to achieve.

Yeah I think I'm gonna go with the 17x8.25 +25. Thanks a lot for the help/info. Made learning the fitment and everything else really easy.
