Fixed Accord_J30a rear bumper this weekend.Been busy for few months but finally got the bumper friday and knocked out this quick project.
bumper had small hole and chipping paint,spider web cracks through most of it.
After starting the repairs saw all the bondo previous fix was made covering a half dollar size dent on divers corner.sanded all off and proceeded with my work..

heated up the bumper,and pushed out the dent forming the body line once again.then wiped 2 skim coats of evercoat putty.

Very nice job. Did you get any dust in there or runners? I can sand and detail :p lol jk I bet you can do that too.

theres no runs..there is your average trash but will buff right out. yea i buffed/detailed for about a year until moving on.ha

That's cool. Since you moved on, you didn't really like to detail?
And not for bodyshops..they treat you like crap and are doing there "*****" work sortaspeak
I moved onto being a body technician..I just do this on the side for fun and of course extra $$...so each time i learn and get better..but bodywork is my main job now

Ohh, I see. I meant detailing thing on a side, but I didnt' know you are working in a body shop. How's the pay? I also wanted to apply to some dealerships as a detailer for summer but not sure if I should do it.

oh not really,i cant even spend time cleaning my car..haha unless for a carshow but its still not "clean" like everybody elses.
but it depends on the place..my place payes 7-9$ an hour but are usually teenagers or old guys.ha right now we have a 17year old,4x and 32year old washing cars..haha
