I agree with this and looking for oil at the uppermost point. Gravity is DEFINITELY your bffff in this case!
I agree. The best way to ensure things get cleaned out is to take them apart and clean them by hand. It shouldn't be your pump if you aren't having any problems at stops/take offs...
Alternators are tricky... I've tested a few at work (off of the vehicle, on a machine) that will test fine, yet turn out bad. The problem there is they've had time to cool down once they were removed. Anytime you have an alternator tested, have it tested a few times (so it gets hot). For...

Is there any fuel leaking from anywhere? Do you smell gas under the hood, when popped and running? Annnnnd just to clarify, it's NOT when accelerating, but when coasting?
