engine swap... v-tec wont kick
okay so i just bought this car, the engine and tranny were swapped out, the v-tec wont kick in... i'm not sure they did all the proper wiring for the swap, (harness, ecu, ect.) but i dont know what i need... can anybody help me out... its a 98 accord ex engine swapped is f22 with ulev v-tec- RICO

okay so i checked, didnt see any noticable spacers there, i could be wrong.. do you have a pic of what its supposed to look like...? also, the engine was swapped out for a ulev v tec... but they didnt do any of the wiring work, so my v tec doesnt kick in... i bought the car with the swap already...- RICO

i try not to push the car to the limits when the gears dont catch.. but from a dead stop the gears wont catch, like i said, it will go very very slow... And the clutch is brand new, i took it to a shop so the job can be done right, but i'm guessing since i'm having the same problem that it may...- RICO
