Been on that Forum a couple of times, but it has been awhile, so I will probably check again.

Going to be one of the last things done with the car, but definately want to have things set up to play to their full potential.

Question how would this compare to (2) 12's MTX's ? Can you even compare the two?

my first setup was an ebay mtx teminator kit. it came with two 12"s in a box, an amp, and wiring kit. they hit okay but the woofers were pretty cheap. Very nice jump from them to the 15 :D

thinking back to when i was a senior in HS and had these and had hardly any knowledge about car audio, i probably had the bass boost and gains all the way up so i though it was hitting hard, but it was really just dirty clipped bass. kinda dumb now that i think about it lol but i was a dumb kid in HS.

i would say that you could most definitely compare the two. the mtx's will be a little more punchy and cant hit the lows as hard. they cant take as much power as well. this rockford is a serious beast and i paid 1.5k for my whole setup. kinda sad to see it go for so cheap but it would be cool to see another member bumpin hard!! :)

do you have a small budget? because I could think of many great amps that cost a little more $$$.

if small budget: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23550_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ2400.1D.html or http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23547_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ1700.1D.html

no budget: http://www.woofersetc.com/p-7739-xxx-15000d-soundstream-monoblock-15000-watt-class-d-amplifier.aspx

hahah jk ^ but forreal if you want to spend a little more Crescendo makes a great amplifier http://www.crescendoaudio.com/index.php/products/amplifiers/item/bc3500d.html?category_id=2

I just recently put a Crescendo amp in my friends car while installing his two kickers.

The amp is retarded big! But really powers those subs nicely. He said he got it for like 250 from somebody so I guess he got a nice *** deal haha
