Re: 6GA Supsension Diversity Poll
OEM here. In fact, the only non-OEM on my car is the oil filter. This thread is useful, but I would get a lot more out of it if there were more discussion on the differences between the more popular choices.
I've had my 99 coupe (f23/mt) for 2 years, but it's been 2 years of recovering from loss of a business and bankruptcy, so no extra money. The car's my DD anyhow.
I'm doing free lance work, sometimes driving as far as 200 miles round trip for work, so right now I'm glad that the Vtec in the accord was for mileage instead of performance. I get 30 mpg on hway, 29 in town.
I'm close to getting hired for full time work, so I'm glad to see a discussion of suspension mods. I'm thinking of keeping the drive train stock, and just adding front V6 brakes, rear sway bar, tires (maybe wheels) and possibly coilovers or a spring/strut change.
My plans for the car are continued dd use, maybe some autocross (I live close to the airport). I don't care about lowering it just for appearance.
