Yeah they are fun, much better than going uphill. Downhill is REALLY fun on mtn biking. But I just don't enjoy going really fast down hills. If something goes wrong while going 40+ on a bicycle, it is not going to end well haha.

I've only done it once, and it was for some single track stuff at the end of the summer, lots of brush and thorns grabbing at my legs.

road rash sucks, especially with hairy, manly legs


how hard is it to ride on rollers? we've got a set in the house and I wanna ride on em, but I've heard its not the easiest thing to do initially

At the races the forks were mounted but riding on rollers free is really tough until you get the hang of it.

Yea, for training just a normal fluid or magneto trainer is fine. I think a riding on the rollers is so much easier to do on a fixed gear.

speakin of fixed gear, i "tightened" my lockring down with a hammer and screwdriver, it feels tight and won't go any farther, do i still need to get it wrenched down?
