Nah, as long as you cant shift it any more. It will actually tighten if you pedal forward really hard so when you first get on it really slam on it the first few pedal strokes to ensure tightness. Also, refrain from pedaling backwards a ton or skidding until it stops shifting.

i don't know, his family lives in Austin and last time he was there it was done... so it could be at his parents or he could've had it done elsewhere

Tad late on the discussion...

But I have not attempted to ride on rollers, however I am pretty sure I would die on them haha. I have heard they are great for working on your balance, but you have to concentrate harder than just trainers. When I ride my trainer I try to zone out, so on a roller I would prolly shoot off it at like 25mph and go into a wall haha
