anyone try using a automatic transmission with thier 3.2 install?

was thinking of upgrading my engine but i know our transmissions cannot handle it. would adding the tranny from the 3.2 solve this problem?

no cause theyre known to have the same failure rate of tranny slipping just go 6 speed.... problem solved

It's been done. But I wouldn't advise it. Protect your investment and swap to MT.

If you can find a good deal on the parts, do the 6spd swap.

If you can't, wait, save up, then do the 6spd swap.

Unfortunately, for a good deal of the Accords/CL's/TL's/Oddy's......yes.

Why cant you use an AT from an 04 or newer Accord. :ugh: :squintwave:

This is what I want to do, so I can keep it automatic. But I was told it has been attempted once before on V6P.com and there is a lot of wiring issues that still need to be worked out. But that was a while ago

Those tranny's(at least 04-05) have issues as well and I am not certain that the bolt up to the J30.
