My good friend replaced his stock strut on his 4th Camry with a Monroe quick strut.

From what I understand (along with other posters) they're essentially an OEM replacement. Since you're not putting on stiffer lowering springs or anything...I think they'll work just fine for her.

I guess it's up to you if you want to pay $20 more for each strut for a more "well-regarded" company.

i don't know what rockauto's exact price is but autozone has them for

front $58.99 each
rear $54.99 each

limited lifetime warranty

i'm assuming those prices are for the gabriel struts? can't find monroe ones on autozone.com

the monroe Monro-Matic Plus strut is going for $56.79 on rockauto

the monroe strut mount is going for $22.79....

there's S&H cost, but there's a 5% discount code and no tax :D

yeah, i picked up the monroe struts and strut mount.. $170 shipped... also got me some wix filters :rock:

before I ever knew really anything about suspension I threw some lowering springs on my car blew out the struts and got the monroe one's and they worked very well for being on lowering springs.. plus they have a life time warranty so if I ever blew them up again I could just take them back and get another set! sounded like a good deal to me!
