so... after taking a look at my fog light that is filled with water,
I decided that I can't clean it so I took it off and get Cold Air piping for my oem intake...
1. you will need to buy 3" piping from home depot or other places, and glue (I use gorilla glue)
for the piping, I got 10" long straight pipe and 1 of the 45 degree angle pipe and connect them...
as the black rubber thingi, i use it from the rubber connector from the oem intake resonator box and glue the rubber piece to the pipe...
and here are the pix
^OEM intake taken off... (you need to install intake first on the car... and then put the rubber thingi and pipe from under... if u glue everthing together before intake is on the car... u won't be able to put everything back into the car)
^those two pix shows the rubber thingi that hold the pipes onto the intake
^its on the car... and painted black so it can't be seen...
remember that I took off the driver side foglight, so I'm only running 1 fog light on the passanger side (i know... BECAUSE RACE CAR)
LOL...
and so the hole on the bumper will bring air straight unto the pipe... they are like 5" apart... so I get the freshest air into my engine!!! the perfect COLD AIR INTAKE!!!
I can't guarantee u that u won't get hydrolock during heavy rain... but there is a water guard on the top part of oem intake... so I shall take my chances
and the result is...
sound exactly like after market CAI... but with the price of
$4 for straight 3" pipe, $4 for bend 3" pipe, and $5 for glue... and FREE LABOR!!!
def. feel better than takeda sri which I have before...
hole on the bumber (don't worry comes stock from the factory... didn't cut anything) for the ultimate COLD AIR!!!
