DIY LED's in Headlight (like Audi R8)

That is a retrofit. If you have one done for you, you'll be looking at about $600 parts and labor. That's on the low side.

I doubt they're anywhere near that bright, would be surprised if someone did an LED strip bright enough to compare to the Audi's

OO OK i do wonder what type of LEDs they are using in the audis.. they glow.

na they are not as bright as audi's in the day time, but night time id say its comparable lols.

I saw an S5 yesterday about 7pm and its white LEDs stood out bigtime, which is pretty amazing considering that late in the day the sun is setting and putting direct sunlight at more horizontal angle onto the front of the car.

There's only 4 or 5 of them on each side in the front, unlike the R8's. But damn they were bright.
