So what do you guys think...a 2 day complete engine swap in a home garage with 3 guys (all suffering from the same cold!). Worked from 8pm friday till 4am saturday morning. Got up at 7am (3 hours total sleep) on saturday to return the trailer and ran errands with a friend till 10am. Started in on the engine at 10:30am, worked til 12am sunday. Started again at 10:30am sunday, finished completely at 6pm sunday. Drove it around-No Problems At All! Can't wait to get a new registration/insurance/inspection, so i can run it on the road again!

why did you swap a ULEV F23 for another F23 ?? i'm missing something..
he was boosting and the engine was in rough shape, and he wanted to go back to a stock engine.

Ok i ruined my old F23 by turboing it. I got a cheap replacement so that my car would move. The new engine has roughly 20k less miles than my old one, too. I didnt h22 cause i dont want to deal with wiring, and i don't want to do any more custom work-i needed a reliable, easy replacement. And yeah, the new one's not ulev.

Noice....I would have suggested go H22 or f20 or somethin but lets see what a N/A F23 can really do! :)
