What's going on guys. Well I have a 98 lx auto stock. I'm wondering what suggestions you guys have for a newbie. I have about 2-2500 to spend currently. I don't know if I should focus on an engine/transmission swap, shocks/springs, wheels and tires, or any other performance options.

tha most common first thing people do is, lower then rims, intake and exhaust
u shld b able to accomplish this with tha cash u got

ff type 1 full coilovers-600
rims -anywere from800-1500
intake-120
exhaust-400 magnaflow - 0r ebay piping[120ish] with a dif mufller 80-100ish
just go for it

Any recommendations on the how to find a good shop to get the work done at? Or are all of these DIY?

and we do have a master DIY list that you can check out before attempting them

everything i listed is easy with exception of coilovers but id rate that at 6 out of 10
it took me 2 and a half hours to do it by myself, just need like 5 tools plus renting a spring compressor if u get springs and struts otherwise ff1s are direct install , its well worth doin it ur self

I have 4 lug wheels, does that really limit me in my selection or do I need to change that?

yes, but there are still a wide ammount of rims

no not too much but some of the best rims are five lug, stay on stockes til u lower and do most of the upgrades i dnt suggest 5 lug swap as one of first things, but thats my opinion, in the end its ur car lol

Cleaning the valve cover and the engine bay
