I've done it and it's really not that hard. It takes patients and a steady hand. This was my first time soldering. Worst case scenario is you ruin it and have to replace it. Were talking well under $200 here.

My advice for you is to take apart the hvac and read the instructions how to remove the old LEDs and install new ones. It's very straight forward.

Oh no, they do sell it now, I'm sure its cuz of this thread. Is where everything else is now I'm pretty sure you still have to solder
