I have one and the adhesive is pretty good, note though it takes 24 hours to full bond, at least thats what it said. Also mine is actually shorter than the actually trunk, but it still works

hmmm, im sure if those members find their way on to this thread, they might be as so generous to us as to show how their cars appear with the lip
