not sure if this has been created but i was wondering if people would like to post thier wheel size and MPG and engine size... kinda torn between 18s or 19s... im sure it wont make much of a mpg difference but aftermarket wheels in general could...

I average 22 city if I drive conservatively. Wheels are 18x8, engine is 3.2.

I understand what you're trying to achieve with this thread, but there are too many variations to really distinguish between wheel size. For instance, a forged 19" wheel will most likely weigh less than a cast 18" wheel. And tire weight depends on construction.

I would decide what you like in terms of looks more first, then find the lightest wheel you can in that size.

well i understand about forged wheels... im looking for the opinion of the majority... and if someone has forged wheels then they can say so and post thier mpg... because your right everything is different and the only way to find out is ask

18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear.

I do ~100 miles a day, ~10 of which are city.

If I drive REALLY conservatively, I'll hit 30-31 mpg. If I'm having an off-week, I'd average 25-27 mpg.

Keep in mind this means accelerating really slowly, and not letting the RPMs pass 2500 (2000 if there's no one around), and cruising down hills in neutral, and NEVER going past 65mph (Although I think my speedo is wrong because one of those radar things that tell you your speed clocked me at 35 while I 'thought' I was going 40 .. )

ALSO! Sometimes I launch in second lol. Supposedly that helps save gas O_O

Wow....I drive 80% highway and get 400-415 miles per tank, equating to about 25-26 with 18x8 Tenzo wheels which are average weight for a wheel, not light but not heavy. And 3.0 V6 just so you know. Im guessing the 27/30-31 are 4 cyls?

I get somewhere around 26 or 27 on county roads, speed limits are 45 and 50. 17x7

ogliquidmetal, I wouldn't go around coasting in neutral too much. I've heard from too many people that it only hurts the internals of your tranny. Also, you aren't saving any more gas than coasting in gear. Both times the car is just idling and no extra gas is being fed to the motor

Yes, sir. F23A4.

I get about 400 miles per fill up .. when I fill up, it's ~13 gallons. How big are the v6 gas tanks ??
