haha, i think thats really over exadurating the defect of the material..give it a thought, howmany dsms have you actually seen them put away because of crankwalk. If the owners know their cars they would know how to prevent an event such as crank walking from occuring. Just my 2 cents yo.

So you running a 1G swap?? It's been awhile since I was knowledgable about DSM's.

6-bolt=1G?
7-bolt=2G?
Kind of. I'm a bit rusty on this. I what i remember is very late model 1g's had a 7 bolt. So some 94's actually have a 7bolt but it's a 1g. The 1g 7bolt doesn't seem to have the same issues however. It's not common though. Again, it's been awhile, my memory sucks and i owned a 2g

All 2g's had a 7 bolt. Some people believe that the early 95's are the best. Only the early models, their were slight changes during the 95 production year. Others believe that the 98-99 (i don't know why the 97 isn't included) is the most "crankwalk free" 2g. I know my 95 was a very early model, technically a 94 in terms of build date, no problems with 115,000miles when i sold.
