You place those plastic strips down with it pointing up. Then you place the spoiler on it with the 4 holes going into the 4 holes of the spoiler. That way you get to move them around and adjust it before your start drilling.

Plus you have to drill a 5th hole for the LED strip.

Does your spoiler say "Accord" underneath it? If it does then it's OEM.

The spoilers not elevated. It sits flat on your trunk lid.
