rims in the winter

I put mine on like 3-4 weeks ago because it was starting to get nice. I usually put my stocks on in the winter because if you slide into a curb by accident when parking or something you wont really care if the stocks get a little curb rash.

will snow(and being wet a lot) damage the rims on its own in winter? we don't use salt where i live, just gravel so im wondering if its safe for good rims just in the snow?
