Dude, arch or no arch, the actual radius of the trunk lid is ever so slightly different, it's not going to visually affect overall length. You'll still see the "gap", whatever that gap may be, and in fact, you'll have a harder time getting it to lay flat.

U might be right. I have seen a few pics online where they lay flat. Maybe the guys just stretch them out, hmm..
