don't relocate the battery to your trunk please. gas (hydrogen) leaks out from the battery which isn't good + extending your wires too far isn't a good thing.

new battery and new air filter.

Yeah, I extended the tubing to the intake. After I relocate the battery, I am going to totally remove the whole tray, open up lots of room and extend the intake even further down.

Does it not depend on the type of battery whether relocating it to the trunk is a bad thing or not?

I am still contemplating doing it, but it will probably make the rear end sit even lower than it is already.

just a battery, no. unless you have really soft springs/softest setting on coilovers, it won't make the rear sit any lower than it is right now.

i've had a 12" memphis sub with a pretty big box/jacks/jackstands and that barely made it lower..
