I do enjoy macro photography. Before I got rid of my Sigma 70-300 APO I
loved to flip it into "macro" mode. It was 1:2 magnification, but it was
definitely fun to play around with. I may have to look into a true macro lens
sometime in the future.
I went to my parent's place for Mother's Day and took some more nature shots.
These were all taken with the 70-200 2.8 and the 1.4x extender (because I
was hoping to see some birds/wildlife, but wasn't so lucky). Aperture is f/4
due to the extender. Bokeh is pretty smooth, but my sharpening doesn't help
it any. I love how it looks at 2.8, but didn't want to bother taking off the
extender.
