I'm not good with auto trannys but since the autos on these cars are known to go out thats why i made sure to get a 5 speed.

none the less, save up for a rebuilt one or a 5 speed swap.

ya i got a great deal on the car. traded 500$ worth of tools for it. runs perfect very clean interior. just the trans issue. ill eventually swap it. but for now trying to solve the issue.

IIRC, the tranny only holds about 2 quarts and are very strict about using their own honda fluid. I don't think Lucas would be a good idea in this case.

I know there are a few members with rebuilt trannys doing great. I know sonnex makes un updated part that pretty much fixes the problem if you do a rebuild..

Look up the drain/refil method for the tranny. they suggest you do it 3x.

well i been looking on google and using that and what the code said. i have found the part the "auto trans clutch pressure solenoid a/b assembly". Im gonna test it and see if there bad. but that is what the code said was the issue. if it is i found a used one on ebay thats guranteed with 24 hour shipping. so we will see.
