What do you think the best exhaust is?

2 quick questions

1. if i were to buy an exhaust (only the muffler) would i have to do any welding?
2. Is it even legal to drive around without an muffler?

1. YES, if the mufflers are "universal" then it needs to be welded. If it's Axle-back, then you can just bolt it on.

2. Traffic laws vary by state. Each state have their own rulings etc. But as a general rule, police is generally more strict with imports that has loud exhaust than domestics that has loud exhaust. So if you run around without a muffler, expect to be harassed, or even ticketed.
