Where to find polished A/C knobs

I used #430 60grit. I found some disposable nail file sticks at home so I'll use that later tonight to clean up the edges.

I'm surprised it only took 1/4" of sanding to reach the Accord's base.

I suggest sanding it down some more. But start with 1/4" and check how it fits and decide how much more to sand down.

Use a belt sander. Probably a better choice anyway. Just make sure to wear gloves.


+1. belt sander would have been the ideal choice ( even sanding all the way around ) but since I didn't have one of those at home I used the dremel :doh:. Also, tape off the part that is not getting sanded so it doesn't get accidentally damaged.

Brad, have you tried it on a v6 with auto climate controls yet?

If memory serves me right then the V6P groupbuy had 2 version of the knobs.
