Thanks for the input. Not really worry able tallness tho as long as it stays around 40 and 45. I am more worried about the tire length being to wide. That's why I don't want to go above 225.

Buying Wheels

So, there's a black friday sale going on online on many websites and I am going to buy my first set of wheels. I was going to buy them last year, but they weren't in stock.

So, I need to make sure I don't mess this up.

My car: accord 2001 ex v6. My choice is 17's all around. 17x8.5 +30

My question is about the bolt pattern. Does it matter if I do 5x100/5x114.3 or 5x114.3/5x120? I am choosing to go with 5x114.3/5x120 since the color I want is in stock for this specific combination.

As long as the wheel has the bolt holes for 5x114.3 then you are good.
