I'm having somebody put in my power steering pressure line in but the main issue is he can't get the new line to thread into the steering rack he tightens the bolt with his hand then gets the tool to make it tighter but every time the bolt just pops right out what are we doing wrong please help

Cross threaded, threads aren't seating properly, corrosion....

Kinda hard to say without seeing it.

With the limited amount of room there is, he just needs to take his time, and maybe wiggle the line while threading in the fitting.
Yes, I've done both on my 99 Accord, so I know there's not much room to work with.

ok, so I'm having the same issue I've even taken the old bolt off and replaced it with one that i know will fit and periodically check to see if its cross threaded and it still threads in, i just can not get the new one on with the hard line

mine is the v6 2000 coupe. ive replaced two of the three ps lines myself. im gonna assume you are talking about the long one in the bottom where the nut/fastener threads into a hole on the driver side. if so that was a huge PITA, no room, limited
visibility. Just keep at it and be patient and it will go in. in all the years ive been working on this car that was the hardest fastener to get back in. Im hoping the third line doesnt spring a rusted out leak!!
