I really did not want to start this thread but this is the only course of action im left with. I realize that Badgertype is a vet to the forum and known as a good guy, but despite this the fact is he has not held up his responisibility in sending me the item I paid him for and he should be made accountable. I am am not the only person with an issue with him there is another member here who has the same problem.
First of all, let me give you the details of this transaction. In October, Badgertype purchased a Pioneer Avic D1 head unit from me. I proposed a trade for him cause he was selling some accord parts at the time I was missing my stock down pipe and heatshield and without that pipe I could not drive my car. SO i offered him to deduct $30 off the price of the head unit, he agreed. I sent him the head unit and he received it on Oct 17. I planned to receive my items about a week later, but got nothing. I pm him and he says that the shipping label got ripped and sent back to his house so he will ship it out again. So I waited and got nothing again. So on Nov 6th I pm him again and he says apparently he put the wrong address and it got sent to his parents house and he didnt know cause he doesent live there and once again he gives me the run around that he would ship out asap again. This tmie I asked him for a tracking number to make sure, and then on he stops replying to my PMs and stopped logging on aim.
I wanted to place a dispute with paypal but because this is a trade I canot place a dispute because I did not send him any money. This is the only part keeping me from driving my car and because of this my car hasnt been driveable for over 2 months! ive tried to be understanding and patient but its got to the point where I need to take action.
So if anyone in the florida area can give me his contact information so I can contact him id appreciate it. Mods if you can try to contact him and if this problem does not get resolved I propose you ban him cause people like this ruin the integrity of our forum and our classifieds system.
Once again, making this thread is the last thing I wanted to do, I wanted this to get solved and for everybody to be happy, but he has left me no choice. O dont no why hes willing to risk his reputation over a small amount of money, maybe he thinks its a small amount of money and ill just forget it and sweep it under the rug. but the AMOUNT of money is not the point. its the simple fact that I gave him money for an item and he did not give it to me. that is STEALING plain and simple.
