Can you guys please list the best shock and spring combo? I want good set up where the ride is semi soft/hard, something in the middle. I also wanna be able to hug corners too but ride smoothly. Im open to any type of suggestions but cost efficient options too please? im a baller on a budget because of the holiday season..

Looking for a 2inch drop, my range in price is between $100-$400 for the full set up.

Been reading a lot about how people use this and that and say its these two brands sound good etc etc its so so and this and that. I wanna hear from people who have suggestions thru experience with their actual set ups.

Thanks Guys in advance!!

For that price......

I would suggest Koni Yellows/Eibach Sportlines, you can also look at using Tein products, KYG/Neuspeed, Tokico Blues/Eibach to name a few.

The ones I named aren't necessarily in that price range, unless you can find a good deal on a used setup. You may want to consider coilovers as well if you want to raise your car back up.

I've heard good things about the KYB's, someone I know with a 5th Gen had them on and said they were great.

I think koni yellows/neuspeeds is the best set up. the koni's allow you to adjust the firmness of the ride w/ the turn of a knob, plus the neuspeeds give a comfortable ride w/ nice cornering. I have a set of h&rs I'm selling which are pretty much identical to neuspeeds. I said $100shipped, but I'm flexible!

Just make sure on the spring's rates. Most shocks will accomodate 2' or lower springs, but some like kyb GR2 and others will accomodate springs of no lower than 2 inches.

with the price your looking to spend on the setup are you going to install them yourself or go to a shop? if your going to a shop keep in mind that your looking at roughly $200-400ish for the install and you'll of course need an alignment.

Don't get GR2s. I've heard mostly complaints about them and how they are actually stock replacements, possibly a little better. They have been known to blow after 30k miles.
