This is going to be my 1st official rant of 2008. If this changes your outlook of me, so be it. It needs to be said.
Some of you may know, about 2years ago, I was permanently banned from v6performance.net, for "going off" and cursing out one of the lead mods. This coming after I blew up about my topics always getting moved to sections of the forums, where I knew no one would look. At least not the people whose opinions I cared about would look (i.e. 6thgen owners). Also dealing with family issues, that I couldn't address due to being at school and not physically in my own home. I was put on a temp ban, and came here, where I was welcomed with open arms. I thank Wildman for not going along with their ways. However, I did post a rant on here, blowing up once more saying things to the extreme of "F*** v6p, F*** vtecv6, your a piece of **** and I know I'm better then you. I'll give you a real reason to ban me." Etc and so on. Upon my "temp ban" expiration, I was informed that I was now permanently banned, and when I confronted VtecV6 about this, he fowarded me all the posts I made on this forums.
So as time went on I gave up on v6p, considering most of the members also are on this forums. After about a year, I appologise to vtecv6, and the rest of the mods, and members. Which in part, I was completely Ignored. Treated like I didn't exist. A friend of mine then registered a name on their website, because he purchased a 6thgen with a lot of problems. Which resulted in them banning him as well, probably because they thought it was me. He since has sold the car and drives an Integra.
So I went on my way, doing what I needed to do. This went fine up until the 6spd swap. When I realised, I'm one of the only, IF not the only person on this forums with the swap. I say it went fine because, there are more people on v6p who have also done the swap, and are there to answer questions I may need to ask. I've even gone to the lengths of asking Sonnick, Comptech and Sketch to post questions for me. 3 guys who know me, and I talk to on a daily basis online or through txt message. They know that I made a mistake, and know I meant it when I said I was sorry to the v6p community. But still to today, I've emailed vtecv6 and other mods, about my Ban, and I have still YET to receive an acknowledgement back yet. Still being completely ignored.
Now SOON to be one of the Only "Publicly advertised 3.5 6thgen Accords, I asked again to be reconsidered and be let off Ban, so that In the event I do get into a magazine or something to that nature, this site along with v6p can get the recognition they deserve. Considering both sites are the reason why I own, and STILL own the car to this day. Both sites are the reason why the car looks the way it looks, and runs the way it runs. Both sites are why I'm the person I am today, and now it being 2008. I hope people can be forgiving. So again I leave with 1 statement. I'M SORRY. - Mike Pignataro
PS: Please vote, if you think I've served my sentance, or if you think I should still be banned for my actions.
