ummm i dont know about mileage, but i changed mine because it didnt rattle....

if it doesnt rattle = you went WAYYY over i think :lawl:

and who told u told change it? :coffee:


but yeah.. if it rattles, u're good.. if it doesn't. change it.. and hissing sound? :eh: v6p = :huh:

It's PCV valve, guys. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve. PVC is the stuff pipes are made of. Haha.

Anyway, changing them every other oil change is way, way overkill. I mean granted they're $3 but you're probably better off using one of those fuel system cleaners or Seafoam every 3-4 oil changes than to replace the PCV valve that often. They don't clog up that frequently. I think OEM is $15. I replaced mine twice so far and I'm going 105k miles. So far, so good.

that small plastic pice above "T" on our valve cover...you know where it says VTAK? :henry:
