Since it seems the amount of money I'm pouring into my car is never going to stop growing, I was wondering if there is any special type of insurance coverage or add-on to insurance coverage that would cover the aftermarket modifications to my vehicle. I remember reading something about CP&E coverage (Custom Parts and Equipment) in an issue of ModifiedMag but I figured I would come here and ask all of you guys. I just don't want to end up losing out major in the end because I could have covered the parts and didn't know it.

Thanks.

who's on crack? :eh:

of course, your premium will increase if you insure more/expensive item(s).
as long as i remember correctly, i think rims/lip kits/audio equipments will cover,
but no engine mod....

roy/DSA explained to me once, but since i wasnt too interested, i didnt liten carefully....you can ask him and several other pplz...

I figure the premium would go up, but I'm wondering how to go about getting the things insured. So far all I have in my car that is not factory is the intake, catback, wheels, headunit and subs and amp, that's all. The only other thing is going to be my suspension when I get my struts in.
