Maybe I missed this, but why (and how) do the 01-03 Civic fog lights work. I have an 02 Sedan and wouldn't these just work / be easier?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-02-HONDA-ACCORD-4D-SEDAN-TYPE-R-JDM-FOG-LIGHTS-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ300217558199QQcmdZViewItem

They even come with a switch. My previous car was a Saturn and I put fogs in there so sometime I would like to do it with my Accord. :)

Yeah - you did miss it, but I kinda don't blame you because this thread is 20 pages long.

POINT BEING:

01-03 CIVIC FOGS = 98-00 BUMPERS
REGULAR OEM STYLE 01-02 FOGS LIKE THE ONES YOU LINKED TO = 01-02 SEDAN WHICH IS WHAT YOU HAVE! THEY WILL WORK OUT FOR YOU!

THE LOWER GRILL PLACEMENT IS DIFFERENT for 98-00 AND 01-02 BUMPERS. IT IS A PAIN IN THE A$$, I know. I ordered the 01-03 civic ones because i have a 99 bumper, and they sent me 01-02 fogs like you need. Motorenergy was the name of the ebay seller. Their customer service sucked the elephantitis dick.

No need for you to buy the 01-03 civic lights if you have a 01-02 bumper...

Hope that clears it up for you, good luck.

All I want to know is..

Do the eBay 01-02 Fogs use the same bulb as the OEM fogs? I have the complete OEM wiring/switch on my car it's just that my OEM fog housings got trashed so if anyone knows..FREAKING TELL ME.

I bought my set from ebay and they came with H11 bulbs, I don't know if that is OEM size or what but thats what I got and currently using. Hope that helps.

Likewise ... H11's were in the set of lights that i received as well (01-02 fogs); the one's I ended up sending back for exchange for 01-03 civics. Good luck.

I was wondering the same...it seems that the oem wiring comes with a different connector so I swapped the ones that came with the ebay fogs to my oem wiring
