Will '08 oem 18" wheels with 225-45-18 fit 1998 sedan v6?

New member with first post. As title says will the 2008 oem 18" honda wheels with 225-45-18 tires fit 1998 accord sedan v6? Currently, the car is stock but i am planning to lower it with lower springs. Are those tires too big?Thanks....Nick

Depends on how far you plan to lower it.

I don't know how far i should lower it. any suggestions is appreciated. I am pretty new at all this but I am thinking about lowing it 2" in front and 1.75 in rear. I am looking for help because a guy is selling his 18" oem wheels and tires from his 08 coupe. I am concerning about the tires being too big. If they are 225-40-18 would be better but i don't know.

Yes they will fit. I had 18s before with 235/40/18 on 2.5" drop. Front has no problem but the rear rubs.

It looks like it its just that tire is really beefy so it raised it up some.

It's gotta be dropped, if it wasn't it would be even more 4x4 than it is.
