Last weekend I locked my keys in the car, :bash: , and in the process of getting in the car I banged up the chrome trim over the window. I haven't taken it off yet, and it seems to be clipped in, but if anyone can give me a hint on how to remove it would be great!! I know a few people that have had their car painted and maybe they might know if there is any trick to it.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I believe that there are just plastic clips inside the channel on the backside of the trim pieces..... maybe try and pry it away from the body carefully with a screwdriver covered with some tape.... i know mine can slide around a little bit.

A bit random, but anyone ever try painting that chrome trim around the window? If so what kind of paint and what process does this entail?
