Ok, i'm getting concerned because of how late i started this process. I can give a ton of excuses as to why but i'll leave it at "it is what it is". Anyway, i'm just basically now starting (yesterday to be exact). I'm trying to do 5 cover letters and appropriate edits to my resume to apply to 5-6 jobs per day. I can work over next semester part time before i graduate so it's not terrible i'm this late. But, if it's going to take a month, i'm scared lol. I do have a back up job, just not in the field.

I'm not talking about a career job btw, just an intership, part time, or summer job in my field, i know career jobs can take months and months to get solidified.

Meh, if I get a job in my field thats awesome, but if I like the job I have and it lets me live the way I want, all the better.

found one right away through my internship but didn't like the pay and the lack of pay increase. So I decided to go freelance, it's not great but doesn't suck either.

Thanks for the help man.

The reason I said that is because for me things didn't work out the way I planned. But that's not to say that you can't put your mind to doing whatever it is you want to do. For me it was kinda tough and I just stayed working what I was doing while going to school.
Salary was better at what I was doing at the time, But if i would have taken a job on my field back when I had the chance, I'd be making more money now. I just couldn't afford it at the time.

Whats your major? Better yet, what field do you want to go into?

My major is Business Administration. I'm planning to go into something dealing with database management, like a network analyst, network administer, network etc, etc, lol. Right now, i probably need something more along the lines of IT. Even marketing if net based. Pretty much anything that involves computers, the net, and is business oriented (i'm not a program, i don't do graphic design to any real extent, i'd rather not just be someone who just enters info into a database atleast long term).

I'm just looking for a summer job in the business field really, i'm concerned because i just started applying yesterday and it may take awhile for people to get back to me. So i'm just wondering what peoples experiences have been time wise.

It's cool, i was probably a bit harsh, it's just i'm not trying to figure that out right now (i have 2 classes left before i graduate). Everyone does there own thing, look in the smack down section to get my opinion. I'm just so sick of Off Topic posts that i kind of took it out on you, sorry.
